    Hey all,
I've been using my E1505 for the past few months. I bought a Logitech V270 but after 2-3 days of use it stopped working, so I just tossed it in a drawer, but took it out recently. Over the past week or so, I've come to the realization that it must be a bluetooth problem. Every 2-3 days, the mouse will stop working unless I restart my computer. When I turn the mouse on/off, something will pop in the systray like it's recognized, and then go away. When I move or click the bluetooth mouse, nothing happens, but I can use a touchpad or USB mouse. Any ideas of what's wrong? Can I "upgrade" my bluetooth?

What BT stack are you using? Have you reformatted the computer?

Not sure what a BT stack is... but under Device Manager, Bluetooth Devices show as:
    1. Bluetooth Bus Enumerator
    2. Dell Wireless 355 Module with Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR Technology

And no, I have not reformatted.

    /edit:
Also, under the Bluetooth Configuration, it says:
    WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software 5.0.1.2609

Then under the "properties" of Dell Wireless 355 Module with Bluetooth, it says:
    Manufacturer: Broadcom Corporation
    Firmware version: Broadcom Corporation
    HCI Version: Bluetooth HCI 2.0
    LMP Version: Bluetooth LMP 2.0

I've have the same config. w/ the Logitech V270. The only time my mouse died in the last few months was when the battery was low. There is a Toshiba Bluetooth stack available for download (Dell e1505 Bluetooth Driver). I had to use it for my Bluetooth headset.

thetick - it doesn't die, it just doesn't do anything. It shows up under the bluetooth devices but when I move it, nothing happens. same w/clicking. The red light underneath also turns on.

    Anyone else have ideas?
