I have bought a Dell Inspiron 6000 and I'm experiencing problems with the bluetooth-device (internal Dell 350 bluetooth card from toshiba).
I have tried both the driver from Microsoft with the Microsoft-stack and also the driver from dell with the toshiba-stack. Well, I have problem to sync it with my SonyEricsson K750i cellphone. For that I use SonyEricsson File Manager and Sony Ericsson SyncStation. When I use the bluetooth driver from Microsoft I can sync with the phone sometimes, and sometimes not (the sync-button is greyed out). When I use the toshiba stack I can never sync with the phone..

I have really no idea how I can fix this.. I experience a better stability with the toshibadriver, but I can not sync with my phone with that driver.. I don't know why, therefor I ask you guys how I can get rid of this problem ?

What can I do to be able to use SonyEricssons File Manager and sync-station? It seems that the toshibastack doesn't get SonyEricssons file Manager access to the phone or something like that..

PLEASE help me out with this one.. What can I do?

I would stick with MS's driver, but i really don't have an explanation for it greying out. It could be that your BT radio got turned off or disabled. I don't have a BT phone, so i can't really explain how to check your phone settings, but make sure that your phone does have it's BT radio enable also. Both of these have to be on in order to activate the connection.

You might make sure that whichever BT software you use, that it is set to detect connecting devices.

With most issues I have seen like this you want to:

    1. stick to the MS stack
    2. soft reset the phone
    3. upgrade sync software to the latest
    4. turn off firewall
    5. start over and install everything again
    6. last resort hard reset the phone.

I think the people at howardforums.com should be able to help you better.

I solved the problem by uninstalling the toshibastack and installed WiddComm driver instead.. Works PERFECT and I got a lot of more features=)

I am also having some problems with my Bluetooth on my Inspiron 6000 with Toshiba drivers. How can I get the WiddComm drivers which will work with my laptop?

I went to Widcomm site and the only driver I could find was an update for someone who already had a Widcomm driver. Since I have a Toshiba (and I assume you also had a Toshiba driver since you are also talking about an Inspiron 6000), how can I get a Widcomm driver?

I even went on driverguide but I could not find a driver which I thought would apply for me.

I would appreciate help from anyone out there. Thanks
