    Hey guys,

Iv'e got an inspiron 6400 and i'm having a problem with the BT.
    Mainly, it dosen't work.

It's a 355 module. The correct driver is installed. Everthing *seems* to be working. Only it dosen't. When I search for bluetooth devices, the search comes up empty (althought I do have a bluetooth hub).
So, I installed bluesoleil bluetooth manager, and i get a messege saying "please insert a bluetooth device".
Just in case, I actually cheched physically that I do have the module (it's behind the panel that's accessible after removing the battery, right?).

    Any ideas?

Is the BT radio turned on (Fn+F2 I think)?

Do you have the blue bluetooth icon running in your tray, and the Bluetooth Support service running?

Is it listed correctly in the device manager and the bluetooth icon in the taskbar color blue with white or blue with red?

Blue and white means the radio is on. Blue and red means its off. Which one is yours?

The BT icon is present, active and ready for duty (blue with white).
I suppose it's listed correctly in the device maneger (under "BT devices" Iv'e got "BT bus enumerator" and "dell wireless 355 module with BT 2.0 + EDR technology". I'm listing this just in case).

As for Bluetooth Support service, I guess so, but I don't know exactly what you mean (where to look for it, that is).
