Hello I purchased a dell inspiron 1525 with 3gb ram 160m gb HDD and with plain dos . I am trying to install window xp service3 I am facing problem in accessing the pen drive . whatever softwares are there in my pendrive it is not displaying those softwares.

i told to the technical support also, they suggested me to install vista as it is compatible with vista after june 2008. Please guide me if it is good to purchase the vista . or it can work with xp only.
