ok I have an E1705 with the Sigma Tel audio chipset. I have noticed that sometimes when I watch movies the audio is not correct. its like its in 5.1 mode with only 2.1 speakers if that makes any sense. I can hear the surrounding audio but cannot hear the people talking. and I have tried it on both my 5.1 and 2.1 speakers with the same effect. what settings should I check? I have already tired all option in control panel/ sound and audio devices/ advanced under speaker settings with no effect.
BTY this is on WMP as Nero Showtime(my perfered movie player) does not always play all my movies.
