    Problem with startup?

    I have a inspiron 1520 and when i boot up the comp the screen will turn white and says the system modular bay cannot be identified. Also my disc drive does not work. I have tried searching but could not find any solution.

    Hmmm, have you tried a firmware upgrade for your DVD drive? Is there a yellow exclamation point next to the DVD drive in the device manager?. Have you consulted dell?.
