Hello everyone, new user here. I'm having problems with my Inspiron 6000. I've tried to install the recommended drivers on the Dell Support site, but the little icon at the bottom still says "Driver Not Installed." The device itself does not even show up on the Device Manager. Any help is appreciated.

Maybe check if the wireless device has been disabled in BIOS?

If you can't see it in the device manager (either as a working device or an unknown network device), you may be facing a hardware problem in which case you'll have to replace the wireless card or your motherboard.

Alternatively, you could try just re-seating the wireless card first...
