    She's got it set up for wireless - but is getting constant drop outs and lags - none of which I'm getting on my Macbook pro.

    Anyone had a problem like this that was fixable? She's never updated any core drivers as far as I know bar the windows security updates.

    May want to check the Dell.com support site and see if there are any updated wireless card drivers. If it's still under warranty, perhaps ask about exchanging the WiFi card.
