I just downgrade to XP from vista. Then I started installing drivers for my computer all of a sudden it froze so I shut it down. When I turned it back on it made three beeps paused then three more beeps and nothing is being displayed on the screen. Can anybody help me fix this problem?

you need to get the documentation for your Dell. (next time post your specs, there are a lot of DELLs)

You should be able to see what those beeps mean. On some Dells you need to reseat the memory chips with 3-beeps

Sounds like a ram problem. What is your laptop?

Unless you know what you're doing, make sure your BIOS does not have the hard-drive set to "SATA" or "AHCI" mode. I know this causes problems in XP unless you manually tweak it. Often-times Vista comes pre-installed with the machine set in this mode.
