    Problems with Vostro 1400 Touchpad

    Hey guys, my replacement Vostro 1400 has been great thus far but I've been having issues with my touchpad now. It responds just fine but when I tap on it to click something, half the time it does not respond. Anybody else have this issue? Any fixes?

    Why not try the settings? Either way within a day or two you'll get used to it and it'll become second nature.

    My 1400 also has occasional touchpad issues, hence I use a USB mouse most of the time.

    I've tried the settings and all but it still doesnt respond half the time. I tried reinstalling all the drivers as well but nothing. This is the second bad touchpad I've had with the 1400. My other notebook, a Lenovo, is just absolutely perfect and responds to every tap.

    i found compared to my toshibas we use the dell touchpad was not great i had no problems of it not working but it seemed to lag a lot even if i changed the settings.. i i found i did have to tap a bit harder than on the toshi's
