    Hello,

    I've got a M1330.
My WiFi Catcher Detection switch doesnt work.
When I hold it on an explorer web site it changes the zoom level and minimize the page.

I dont know why it doesnt work now but it worked.
Please help me to reset it to proper use.

Wi-Fi catcher switch is used to check the presence of a Wireless network without booting up the notebook. I didn't know that it worked as a zoom switch for IE inside windows, maybe a feature of DELL Quickset, but that is not it’s primary function.

Insted of opening the wireless presence its changes the zoom level on IE.

    How can I fix it?

Its meant to be used when the notebook is powered down. NOT inside Windows.

The button works fine inside Windows and gives some information about nearby wifi networks (name, signal strength). It doesn't do anything that couldn't be done in a different way with a couple of mouse clicks, but it is convenient.

It does not change the zoom level of anything for me.

I use a free Vista Sidebar utility called Xirrus Wifi Monitor because it gives more information than the wirelss finder button does.

In fact the button is largely useless when the notebook is powered down, because it only indicates the presence of a wi-fi network without giving any information about it.

    I know all that.
but in my computer that switch is not doing the thing it should do.
instead of showing wireless presence it changes the zoom in IE

Is someone can help me with that and fix the problem?
