    Hi

I have a Dell studio 1537 with added bluetooth module and am having a problem with the wireless switch. Often when I am working on batteries, to save juice, I turn wifi off... the problem is, when I reboot, even though the switch is still in the off position, the wifi is working (however bluetooth is still disabled).

    Any ideas :)

I noticed the same thing today, when Windows starts the "connect to a network" window pops up even when the switch is set to off.

I have now changed my BIOS settings for the wireless switch and now WIFI is independent of Bluetooth. This has worked, although it means turning bluetooth off manually in windows. Has anyone any other ideas?
