    Any Idea why a system that I ordered on 7/4 would still be in "processing" when i call to check on the order status line? Seems like a long time to me.

    Hmm..It should have went into production by now I would imagine..Though there have been times when it's sat like that for a few peeps.

    Call a Rep, to confirm that nothing is holding your order from going into Production. ;)

    Will do tomorrow, at first I thought maybe I typed something in wrong when filling out my credit card info, but when I checked my online banking my available credit was lowered by the amount of the laptop so that would be dell's authorization or whatever I think....O well as long as i get my laptop I'll be happy ;) its just the impatience that comes along with th purchase :p

    They will do a *pre auth* on your method of payment to make sure the funds are availi' before it go's into Production. That usually drops off w/in 48-72 hours. And, then you are charged in full before it's about to be shipped (when you are invoiced). :)

    Yes, it's hard when you ordered you lappy..you want it *now*..try and be patient! ;) I practiced a lot of patience whilst waiting on both of my Dell's :eek:

    Mines been processing since June 28th, but they said its because i have to wait for my hard drive to come in stock...

    I orderd a 1545 on 6/24/09 and it was supposed to be delivered by 7/14/09 and now it has been moved to 7/20/09. I just cant figure out why it would take almost a month to build a computer. The last 2 dells I ordered took 2 weeks max. This is starting to get very frustrating!

    Did you order a Dell Mini? I ordered one on the 22nd of June and it was back ordered as well. I think it's just because those laptops are very popular right now and they are having a hard time keeping up with demand. It shipped the day before yesterday though.

    Weird, so the normal order status line (1-800-433-9014) says processing, but the backdoor one (through 800-283-2210 3 2 1 1) says its in the build stage.....hmmm

    Yeah it's pretty wierd. I believe the normal number status line is bugged. It says my order is currently being processed but the 282-2210 number tells me my order is in the boxing stage :)

    Yeah it must be bugged cause i'm still processing on the normal one as well.

    btw slightly off topic but does anyone know if Next day delivery includes saturdays?
