I was hoping someone could explain to me the delay with the t7100 and t7300 delays. My laptop has been backordered for a while now and dell won't explain to me why. I ordered the t7100 processor and I was wondering if thats what the delay was. First they told me that the flamingo pink was delay, now Dell has those in stock, but my laptop is still delayed. My ESD (the latest one) was for Sept. 21st and according to Dell it is still in the build stage so there is no way it will be ready tomorrow.

Any help you guys could give me out be great! Thanks so much!!!

Intel has introduced new chips (T7250, 2 MB Cache), so those are being phased in. That's my guess.

Dell is just BSing. They'll make up any excuse to prevent you from cancelling.

Is dell just out of them or have they discounted them? I thought I read somewhere that they discounted use but didn't want to upgrade processors for people that ordered them so they are waiting for people to cancel so they don't have to upgrade or Dell is cancelling their orders all together to avoid the upgrade.

Thats strange...EU orders can be placed with either 7100 or 7300, but no 7250???
