i order my M1330 back on the 13/07 with an EDD of the 8/8, and now thats its just 7 days away i was wondering when i might start to see some changes in my delivery status.
been in pre-production since day 1 and just looking forward to the day that it will change!

haha, you almost gave me a heart attack. I thought someone in Europe actually got from preproduction to another stage.

I am in almost the same situation. Orderd my Vostro 1500 on 22nd July and have an EDD of the 10/08 and nothing has changed on my orderstatus.

I'm also in the same situation. My initial EDD was 23/7/2007 however, 2 working days before, my EDD changed.

With my previous Dell laptop 640m i ordered, it went through all the phases in less than a week.

I don't think any of us know for certain. Also there have been reports that the status tracker is broken but I have no idea how true this actually is. With the current parts shortage I wouldn't be surprised to see orders jump from pre-production straight to Delivery when they are ready to go.

I got an email from Dell yesterday saying my order was in production and they would keep me updated. I take this with a pinch of salt and assume that this basically means I am still in pre-production really. I emailed back asking them to confirm this means the machine is being built and is not awaiting any parts, but strangely enough I have had no reply.

Actually, 5 days before the ESD, you'll receive a mail telling you that your ESD has been pushed back one month ...

I've ordered my 1330 back on June 29th, with an EDD of July 19th, and got a mail on July 13th, telling me the ESD was pushed back to August 13th. ( And I expect my laptop to be in the first batch of European XPS 1330, after all, i did order early :realmad: )

    ( Just for ref: Red M1330/T7100/LED/BT/Fingerprint reader/160GB 5400rpm/2GB ram)

I agree with xr31Daisy, your date is going to get pushed back when the EDD gets closer. I ordered on the 5th of July, the EDD given to me then was the 31st of July. On about the 27th of July, my date got pushed back to the 6th of September. I'm afriad our wait is far from over yet...
