    hey guys i just recieved my e1705 and good god im as excited as an ethiopian child who finally got something to eat after 3 days without eating anything but cow droppings. ( excuse the horrible comparison). Anyway i need some tips on how to get the best out of my battery, how do i lower the screen brightness, and whats the best way to charge the laptop. Also is it possible to over charge the laptop? because i leave the ac plug in at night... is that bad? help pleasee :eek:

    Thats ignorant and you should be excused. Thats just shows how shallow you are. So making a comparision about this and to a laptop seem right to you ??

    You can lower the screen brightness either in the BIOS, or by holding the Fn button (bottom left) and adjusting the brightness with the up/down arrow keys.

    First of all, what do you mean by best way to charge it? There's only one way I know of. Keeping the AC in all the time will not hurt anything. Once the battery is full it will not take anymore charge and it shouldn't hurt it to be plugged in all the time (mine is plugged in 85% of the time).
