    • Does the XPS M1530 have a microphone built in?
    • How does the computer compare to the Asus G1S?

    Thanks in Advance!

video card is the same as G1S and will perform the same

you can configure the dell 1530 to a t7800 so depending on how deep your pockets are, the dell can be even faster than the g1s

Actually from 3d mark 06 scores it seems like the XPS m1530 does much better.

the xps m1530 3dmark06 score is higher because it was run at a lower resolution.

yeah but even with its lower res it still those not come out the same. But well I still recomend the dell for its sleeker design and overall better looks. But the Asus G1S has better bang for the buck.

The difference in 3dMark06 scores could be due to the different stock drivers for G1s and 1530. Just a guess :D

    Does the Asus G1S 8600 have DDR3? The 1530 8600 has DDR3.

Huh? What doesn't come out the same? Do you have 3DMark scores for a G1S at 1280x800? Also, how is the G1S a better bang for the buck? The prices are very close, depending on what Dell charges for higher res screens it is close to a wash.

It has dual noise canceling microphones and a 2mp web cam built into the monitor.

As for the G15 I have never had any experiance with it, but I spose it depends on how you configure them both, doesn't it? What are you planning on using it for as well, because one will perform better in some areas than others
