Nothing spectucular, but pretty solid deal. Really had to bend over backwards to ge the matte screen like I wanted:

    E1405
    Intel Core Duo T2400 (1.83GHz/667MHz/2x1MB L2 Cache)
    Windows XP Media Center Ed.
    14.1" WXGA LCD Display (Matte)
    1GB DDR SDRAM @ 533MHz, 2 Dimm
    Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
    120GB Hard Drive, 5400rpm
    8X CD/DVD Burner (DVD+/-RW)
    Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 Internal Wireless w/ Netgear 802.11g Router
    85 WHr 9-Cell Li-Ion Battery
3-Year Plus Solution Warranty Package (This was some $$$)
The rest is the normal stuff....

    Price w/ tax: $1167.06

I could have knocked it down to @ $900 even without the warranty...but it's a nice comfort.

    Whatya think?

Nice buy, although I think I would have purchased the faster HD, if that is even an option on the e1405, it might not be.

^I would say that, too, but the premium of having a 100GB 7200rpm HD is ridiculous over a 120GB. I believe it's around the same price as an 80GB 7200rpm HD, but still, 40GB is a lot. Especially considering that it's not really 80GBs: It's about 74. With tons of videos and programs, it dwindles pretty quick, and HDs start slowing after about 80% capacity (or so I hear).
