I see that QVC is going to have the Studio on this morning at 11. Any thoughts on whether it is better to order through Dell or should I consider cancelling my order with Dell, and getting it through QVC if the system is what I have ordered? May end up being cheaper thorugh QVC.

The warranty is a 3 year in home, and it had a bigger HD and larger RAM for the same money.

    ...1550? Seems a bit rediculous.

I'm PRETTY sure I put together the same laptop. The Dell Studio 15 "better" (not good or best) option with the middle Dell Warranty which covers everything except accidental damage/stolen warranty (I am assuming the 3 year in home listed above does not cover that). I also put the same upgrades. It came to around 200 less not including tax or shipping (I think shipping is free). But you will probably not wait nearly as long as we are hehe. So I'd personally buy from Dell.

I don't know, do what you feel is best. I may have made mistakes in putting the laptop together.

I ordered the 17 inch, and when I did the build your own on Dell, the price was a little more than the price on QVC. Not a real big difference there.
