You talking Small Business or large? Small Business laptops (e.g. Vostro etc.) can be ordered without any issue.

Not really sure how it works for large business/educational/etc.

Just make up a name or put self-employed or such in the business field. Unless you are trying to get Dell Financing or ordering for large business it does not matter if the business is registered with the state or not.

You can always order a business laptop even if you are not a business. Believe me they will be more than willing to take your money. The only thing that Businesses are able to do that consumers can't is get a bulk discount (well heck you could even get that if you could afford to buy 500 laptops at once).

Nope, I orderd from small business without any problems. It just wants you to put your first and last name as your business name.
