    Hello folks,

I've recently received my Studio 15:

I've noticed that the wifi catcher, and also the battery meter and brightness popups (via the fn key) do not work until I launch dell quickset.

The first time I click the quickset shortcut, I get a very brief swirly arrow icon (i.e. egg timer) and then nothing. From this point, all of the aforementioned features work.

If I click the shortcut again, quickset launches.

Strangely though, the display brightness and keyboard illumination work regardless of quickset launch (although the brightness won't show the on-screen meter if quickset has not been launched first).

I like these pop ups and wifi catcher, so I guess the obvious workaround is to put quickset in the startup menu.

Is this a 'feature' or is this the way it is supposed to work?

    My machine spec is

    Studio 15
    t9300
    4GB ram
    vista home premium 32

Still fairly clean install, only bloatware removed is works, BT, mcafee, tiscali.

Add office 2003 and AVG so far, thats about it.

    Thanks in advance. :)
