    I recently ordered my Dell Inspiron 8600 on July 28, 2004 and received it on August 5th, 2004. Now I've done a ton of reading concerning the difference between the Banias and Dothan chip. However I for the life of me can't figure out whether my 8600 has the Dothan or Banias. Its more out of curiosity than anything.
    Can anyone tell me what I have or how I can find out?
    Its a Dell Inspiron 8600, 1.6 Ghz If you need more info, just ask.
