Question about Delivery Date

Hey everyone.
My laptop was shipped on Friday, around noon, and I have next day shipping. However my DHL expected delivery date is tomorrow 8/21. Is there a chance I may get my laptop today? It's currently in Billings which is about 3 hours away, and it's 7:20 a.m. right now. So is there a chance I may receive it today?

 

It sounds like it's possible it will arrive today.

Call DHL and find out the latest. If they tell you it will arrive tomorrow, then unfortunately, it will arrive tomorrow.

 

K, now it's currently with the delivery courrier, that sounds good to me

 

Call the courier and ask for the delivery date.

 

If it won't deliver today, you can always drive to pick it up at the hub if you really want to .

I also have this problem, my laptop was shipped from dell on saturday and I have next business day shipping. It should arrive today but the expected date of delivery is tomorrow.. funny. I found out that its currently at the DHL facility like 14.1mi(22mins) away from me house.... I hope I get it.

DHL is continually giving out an extra day EDD so if there happens to be a delay they are covered but it has typically been coming the day before the EDD

 

I was excited to get my laptop today, so I called DHL and asked them to hold it at the depot so i could pick it up at 10:00 AM and not have to wait ALL day to get it. They said that they couldn't do that because they had to attempt to deliver it once before I could pick it up.

I waited all day. No laptop. They said it would arrive by 5 at the latest. 5 comes and goes.
I called at 5:15, and I was assured that it would arrive
6:30, I am getting more angry. I call and ask what's up. The woman gives some bs excuse about "driver error or something." She then says that they will try to deliver it again tomorrow.
I am getting really pissed by then, because I had to clear my whole schedule today to wait for the fscking laptop. I tell her that I want to pick it up tomorrow and she says I can. So now I have to rearrange my whole schedule for tomorrow, when I was planning on leaving on a trip at 8:00 AM to pick up the laptop from stupid dhl.

I still blame dell at the heart of this, for shipping my package via dhl ground shipping, and not the next day shipping that I had requested.

 

That's a bummer man,
I personally dunno how my delivery worked out.
It says my laptop shipped from Billings at about 7:40, which is a 3 hour drive from my house, somehow, it got to my door at about 8:40, which is only an hour, which means either DHL hauled some serious ass, or the tracking system is totally screwed.....who knows?

I love the laptop, and you will too, just think you'll be on it in a matter of hours
