Hey guys, I have a question about X1300 I ordered with my E1505.
I understand Hypermemory uses up to 64mb of system memory, but is it possible to set it so it will only use the dedicated memory(I'm worried that it might slowdown the CPU's access to the main memory)?
Also if it is possible set it, is 64mb capable of displaying the highest resolution(Laptop monitor) with like 6~7 windows displayed at once without any frustration?

Well....the memory is only allocated to the video card when it is needed. Mostly for 3d applications (like games).

Almost any card can display windows on the highest settings without taking the system RAM. Plus like I said, it should only happen on 3d apps like games. When you are in Windows it is only using the 2D part of the card.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the great reply it definitely helps.
I have another question if you don't mind.
If I decide to add an external display in the future will the x1300 handle it well?
