    I'm planning on getting an Inspiron 1420 through Dell Canada, but I have a question about the displays it offers:

    The first option for sure is the glossy one, but the regular WXGA LCD display doesn't explain anything. Does that mean that it's an anti-glare/matte screen?

    Well the third option (the one with truelife) certainly is glossy. That's the one I have.

    It's the matte version. Basically, if it doesn't explicitly say glossy or Truelife, it's matte/anti-glare.
