Hello all, I have a possibly oddly-specific question! Can someone please help?

My current laptop (Dell 17R SE) is starting to wither and I am considering buying a new laptop.

I'm not looking to spend too much so I may go for a 5000 series or 7000 series.

Something I always liked about Dell laptops was the touchpad and its separate left and right-click buttons. I find that laptops with buttons built-in underneath the touchpad are awkward to use, troublesome when using two fingers on the touchpad simultaneously, inaccurate, etc.

It looks like the new Dell laptops don't have separate buttons, so I was wondering if someone could let me know what the touchpads are like to use. Are the new touchpads a downgrade?

    Thanks.
