Okay, well my Dell Studio 17 finally shipped, took about 1 week from order to actually ship, and in my specs online, it shows my 1400 X 900 LED screen to be Samsung. Am I going to run into crappy screen problems like graininess with this screen? I have read over the Samsung screen debacle with the XPS laptop line, avoided it like the plauge.

    Any insight would be helpful...

That issue was with the CCFL line of Samsung screens. I haven't seen a Samsung LED yet, so I would just check it when you actually receive it.
