I ordered my 1520 Friday night, after normal office hours. However, I still have not received my acknowledgment and confirmation emails. I had previously ordered a 1520 and received the two emails right away (I later cancelled due to the new RAM and HD offers) so I'm a bit worried as to why I haven't received the emails.
I talked with an online support person from Dell and they gave me my customer and order number, which I used to check my order on the Dell site (it says "in production") but even after the chat the emails have not shown up. Should I expect them later or something, since I essentially ordered on a weekend?

If you ordered this weekend, you may have to wait a bit, but if you don't get an email in say 5 days, call em up and get on them

Sometimes it automatic, but other times you have to call customer care or do online chat and request your confirmation email, thats what I had to do.

I ordered on Friday night and received a confirmation email in less than 5 minutes. If I were you I'd be checking to make sure your email was in there correctly.

Well the only explanation I could think of right now is that their order site is "down for maintenance" so maybe it won't show up. When I called Dell, they did give me the order number and customer number; does that mean that my order got processed correctly, even though I never got the email?

bizekiel, dont assume anything. Without the confirmation email, you never know whats in your order. Last time, I didnt bother with the confirmaion and I ended paying 100 more for something I didnt order.
