Hi, I was wondering if the extended battery for the Inspiron 6000 sticks out, or fits in like the 6 cell? Thanks Nick
Also, how long does the extended last based on your experience?

It does not stick out. I can't speak to the second question.

Thanks a lot. Anyone else with first hand experience would be great.

Yea it doesn't stick out. By the extended battery I am assuming you mean the 9 cell battery? I have two 9 cell batteries. They last a really long time, probably 4-5 hours depending on what you are doing. I always bring both batteries when I go to school just in case I run out of juice and so I don't have to bring the power brick. I don't think I have ever used the second one, the first one always seems to have enough juice. I should note that my CPU is underclocked when I am on battery at 800MHz and I also downclock my GPU. Hopefully that answers your question somewhat. ;)

Ok thanks a lot for the help. Yea, I was speaking of the 9 cell battery. I'm guessing if I don't downclock, i would be able to get about 3.5 hours. I have the 6 cell right now and get about 2-2.5. Thanks, if anyone else has experiences with the 9 cell, please lmk.
