I'm thinking about buying a laptop for college stuff and some gaming, mostly mmorpgs(everquest). Would an E1505 be able to run Everquest smoothly without any trouble at all or will it be noticeable that the computer can't run the game adequately. If its the latter and the game experience is not smooth, ill probably end up buying an Asus s96j, but i feel i could save some money by buying an E1505 instead of dropping 1200+ on an S96j, any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

you can customize the e1505 with one of three graphic cards
    1. GMA 950
    2. Radeon x1300
    3. Radeon x1400

Would the Radeon x1400 be adequate to run everquest without any problems, because ive head that the x1600 that Asus s96j's come with are 2x as powerful as the x1400's. But im just interested in saving some money because its cheaper and u can use the dell coupons.

I'm thinking about buying it tomorrow, so if anyone has any information or experience with playing everquest type mmorpg's with the e1505 w/x1400 and 7200 processor, thatd be great.

The x1400 should run Everquest fine. I ran DOD:Source on my e1505 with the x1400 and I got pretty good FPS. But if I were you, I would get the Asus S98J. It costs the same as the Dell even with the coupons. The Dell may be a little less, but not by much.

I know the s96j would probably be better but after doing both the configurations and adding in the coupon(havent even tried the university/student discount yet) the difference is around $300, I figured if the E1505 could run everquest with no problems i would just save that $300, but now i am unsure.

Get the 1505, if the only game you plan on running is EQ, then why get the X1600? The X1400 will run EQ fine on high settings, save the $300. The 1505 will also run WoW easily as well.

Thanks for all the feedback, another thing, if i do get the e1505 would you guys recommend sticking with the T2300 or upgrading to the T2400 for $60, would there be a noticeable difference between the two when playing games like everquest?

    There is quite noticeable difference

The T2400 for $60? Go for it
