Haven't been here in years. I'm trying to use MS's screen capture capability. Other Dell desktop, I hit key marked PrntScrn. Can also do Alt and same.

My laptop shares a key called Insert with the smaller designated Prnt Scrn. Nothing I do makes it work. How can I get the Prnt Scrn key to work??

time to get some standalone software for screen shots, if everything else fails (did you try shift+printscreen?)

Man, oh, Man. I thought I HAD tried Shift/PrntScrn! And, of course, that did it. At least for this time. :)

I have tried 5Clicks as a stand-alone, but Irfanview has so many cool features that I just can't give it up.

    Thanx!

I'm on a different Dell now, but will check CapsLock later. Should it be ON, OFF, or I'll just experiment. Stuff is wearying sometimes.

Appears that it's the Fn + PrntScrn. I guess if you play around enough, you can either ruin something or discover something.
