Right-Click the Dell Webcam Manager tray icon and select Launch Webcam Center ;)

My problem is that whenever I want to video chat with AIM or Scype, my webcam doesn't work properly. By that I mean I can only see myself in the smaller screen, while the larger screen (where you're supposed to see the other person) is just black or freezes. Anyone have this problem?

    same problem. took me forever.

The cam works fine when dell ships it to you. for some reason whenever u format/reinstall/wipe clean your HDD for a fresh copy of windows it never works.

heres what i did. I uninstalled everything relating to the Dell webcam - check add/remove programs or uninstall programs and remove all Live crap, there about 3 or 4 of them.

uninstall the driver from device manager. Grap the latest driver from the dell website and the latest webcam manager - thats about 150 megs.

    give it a try...

How about a class action suit it seems like a lot of people have a problem with the web cam driver on this laptop. When I called for tech support the guy wanted me to buy an upgraded warranty before he could help with with the problem. So, if Dell provides defective drivers or software they think it is okay to sell you the warranty program to service the software problem, I think this is corrupt software and corrupt business practice.
