I'm thinking about ordering a 9100 because of the new MR9800. What are your opinions about ordering the 9100 with a 2.8 PIV with that graphics card? Do you think i should get a higher clock speed or should that be enough so that the CPU isn't the bottleneck? I know I'm not as tech savvy as some out here that's why i ask for your opinions.. they will be very much valued... Thanks![ :D]

I'm looking at the 15.4 WSXGA+, where upgrading processor speed to 3ghz would be an additional $75, and to 3.2 an extra $100... I'm just thinking that it wouldn't be much of a hit in performance with a gig or two of memory...[ :p]

What screen type are you going to get? In other words, what would it cost you to upgrade to a 3.0 or a 3.2 while still keeping your same screen type. Or are you flexable as to what type of screen you get. I previously though that you would not run into a cpu bottleneck, but after doing a little research, I read some things that say you might. In the end I dont know for sure, but take into consideration the prices of the upgrades, and see what you are willing to do. Let us know.

Just be sure to NOT buy your RAM from dell, as they overcharge. Instead, check out:

yeah im getting the system with really low ram for the power there, but i'm shopping around while they'll build it...

Do you happen to know if Geil or Kingmax memory modules are any good?
I looked at crucial and newegg and i'll check out your suggestion there...

Thanks for your informative opinion and help...
