    Hi,

I have a quick question...it might have already been answered before but I can't find the answer.

It is possible to pay £5 and get a Windows Resource DVD while ordering a Dell 1558.

Is this the same as a fresh copy of Windows 7? i.e. When I re-install the OS (to get rid of all the bloatware/freeware etc), will this DVD do the job as if I were to buy a fresh copy of Windows 7 from, let's say, PC World?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Don't pay extra. Fill out the form online after ordering the computer and the dvd will be shipped for free.

And yes, it's the same as a fresh, retail Windows 7 dvd. I just installed several weeks ago and the only branding was the Dell logo in the Control Panel. Everything else was pristine.

I think the free DVD link might only be available for US customers. Call technical support and see if they can send one out to you.

Link works fine here. It must be your region, as stated above.
