I have a unused Dell Inspiron 9300 which was given to me some time ago.

As i do have a good laptop right now, i would possibly like to sell this one. It seems like there is some wear on the keyboard and palm rest. Also it seems like the battery is dead.

Would it be better for me to just sell it like this, or should i repair and possibly upgrade it to sell for more? (palm rest, battery, keyboard cost around 120 in total)

If it is better for me to upgrade it, may i ask what maximum cpu and ram i could put in?

I also am considering of upgrading the hard drive as it only has 100GB, if it is worth it.

Thank you if you can help me.

Normally no, not worth it. You'll spend extra money, but you never know if you'd be able to sell it for that much more.
