    Hi-

I have some questions about the following chat I had:

    1. Is Albert correct about what he is saying?
    2. Is the video card in the Studio 15 upgradable?
    3. Any comments on the Montevina platform part?

    Thanks,
    Joe

more or less, he is right, but not about motevina
montevina is going to be branded centrino 2.

Intel Penryn + intel wireless + the New Intel Chipset (you will know it is the right chipset because the base gpu will be the X4500, not the X3100)

part of the new chipset is the improved IGP, but that makes no difference to you as you would get the 3450 or the 3650. I hope dell releases the 3650 for the 15, it is availible on the 17.

what he told you to configure was an older centrino platform, the only difference in your case is the motherboard, everything else is the same.

Don't listen to what all those agents are saying. There's an agent who suggested me buying an XPS M1730 if I wanted to open Photoshop without lagging.

P.S Not to mention my friend's brother worked as a phone call assistant for dell with no idea on operating computers.(Seriously lol)
