I have some questions about the Dell Inspiron 2200 notebook that I would appriciate if you could answer.

    1) Since I noticed it doesn't have a S-VHS Tv-out port but only a VGA port, I was wondering if there exists any VGA to S-VHS converter and if so, how well they work.

    2) Does the laptop have any quick keys for Volume +/- and mute?

    3) Dell has a Inspiron 2200 as the deal of the week. In the ad and configurator it says the screen is a standard 15" but underneath the deal ad it says the screen is a 15" widescreen. Is this just a simple typo by Dell?

    4) Is the screen on the Inspiron 2200 very bright? I have tried a lot of lcd screens and notebooks in the past and most of them have been too bright for my eyes, causing a feel of nausia and headache, even though I adjust the brightness to the lowest. Only screen I've been comfortable with is the one of a :hp: HP NX9010 that's 15". Is there any type of filter you could put on incase you feel the screen is too bright?

    5) Is it better to order online or thru a sales rep? I've heard you get more discounts when you order thru a Dell sales rep. Is that true?

    6) What do you think of the Inspiron 2200?

I think there are better options than the 2200.
