Hi, just recieved it and have a couple of questions:

    1. Is it possible to connect an external audio device and play its sound through the laptops speakers (eg, connect an MP3 player and play it through the laptop). If so, how do you do it?!

    2. How do you get the fingerprint reader to work?! Every time i scan my fingers it tells me its 'bad'! ive tried doing it exactly as they say but to no avail.

    Thanks very much!

    1. That's what the line in jack is for
    2. You have a bad fingerprint :D
Try pressing down on the reader, and sliding it inslowly.. (I know what it sounds like :D )

But when I plug it into the line in jack (the one on the front next to the two headphone sockets) it doesnt play through the speakers. Is there an option i have to select in a menu somewhere?

    Cheers

I know what you mean about the fingerprint reader. I just couldn't get it to work until I used my thumb. For some reason my thumb works every time. Try it and see if it works for you. I'll eventually do the rest of the fingers... sometime.

yes.. you have to select it as an audio inputdevice in the sigmatel control panel.
and then direct it to a playback device(Speakers etc)

I found setting the fingerprint reader to lower security/higher convenience helped my finger swiping percentage :p

Also, the actual enrollment is better than the tutorial - it tells you what you did wrong as opposed to just saying bad swipe.

The thing that freaks me out is how it says enroll more than one finger in case of injury... like i really needed to think about that when i just got a new comp :p
