When installing Vista 64, can I use the original XPS m1530 drivers/utilities disk to instal AHCI? Or does it do that automatically? And at this point in time, will I still need to wait to install SP1 before I install the Sigmatel Audio driver?

You will want to load the AHCI drivers to a USB drive and load them when you install the Vista 64.
