Quick Question Regarding Dell Delivery (UK)

Hi,

I'm about to order a 1520 in the next couple of days.

I seem to remember in the past a section in the order review giving an estimated shipping date for the system, but i cant find anything now. Perhaps i was just imagining it. However all i can find now is a paragraph saying systems take about 10 working days.

I believe Dell send an estimated shipping date in the confirmation email - is this correct?

The reason i'm asking this is that I am going on holiday for a couple of weeks at the very end of july and dont want my laptop to be delivered to an empty house. I assume they ring you up to confirm a delivery date or something like that.

If anyone could run through the Dell delivery process that would be great.

 

hi dell uk is the best delivery service, if u ask the dell rep you are dealing with to make it priority for free then it will be with you within 3-4 working days. they do send an estimated date and you can tell them when and what time you want it delivered
