I have an old Dell Inspiron 5150 which is being scrubbed clean and passed on to my brother. In the process I'm giving it a much needed RAM upgrade. I was planning on using the Crucial 1gb chip listed here but I just realized that that would leave me with a free slot. Would it be an issue if I left one of the current 256mb chips in one of the two SODIMMs for a total of 1280mb? They're both DDR333 but something about that pairing makes me uneasy. Might there be any complications with this setup?

    Thanks!

There should not be any issues.
