    For Virginia Tech the address is www.dell.com/vt

    for University of Virginia it's www.dell.com/uva

    Hmm...I wonder if I could possibly get by if I am a sophomore in high school. Do you need to provide any proof or make an account? Normally I would happily pay the regular money, but I am a bit hard-pressed due to family issues.

    Dell only has Faculty & Staff purchases for K-12, but Students can order from Higher Education as well. But they require you to provide student id and other information that might flush you out. You can try, but no guarantees.

    I configured Inspiron 6400 at http://dell.ca/ubc site...univ. of british columbia, canada. The cost seems to be same as from dell.ca . No good deal.
