Hi, I am hoping there is a quick fix to my problem. I have a Dell e1505 laptop with wi-fi and bluetooth. When I search for a wireless connection, it tells me none are found and to make sure my wi-fi switch is turned on. When I use Fn+F2 it toggles the bluetooth on and off, but the green wi-fi light does not turn on.
My question is, how do you turn on the green wi-fi light?
    Thank you.

Go into your BIOS on boot up, and towards the end of the options are what Fn+F2 does (turn on BT, turn on WiFi, turn on both).

    Wacky-
Thanks for the help, I found the options easily. Unfortunately I didn't have any luck getting the light on. I have the Intel PRO 3945 wireless card, any other advice would be appreciated.

Are you using the Dell or Intel drivers?

Wacky, I'm using the Intel driver dated 12/4/2005, version 10.1.0.13.
    Thanks again for your help!

Check if you have your wireless card enabled in your bios. If it is disabled, then it wont work in windows vista or watever and hence it won't give the green light.

Uninstall the Intel driver, and install the latest Dell driver. The Intel driver might not have the switches in the INF to turn on the LED when activated.
