OK, here's my impression of the first five minutes of having this Dell:
1. Quality control is poor. My screen had dirty streaks on it, so someone in Malaysia was not careful enough handling this machine. One of the bottom plastic doors (memory?) is bulging, like it's about to explode. And as others have already reported, the M1330 does not sit flat, it wobbles because the front left rubber foot does not meet the surface properly.
2. The LED screen is dimmer than the Sony TZ90, and the colors are not as saturated, kinda washed out.
Don't know if this one's a keeper, even at the low price I got it at.![]()

Send it back for a replacement?

ouch ... getting a replacement might take 2 years at this rate!

I may just want to wait for the new thin-and-light MacBook. -

Wow, Thanks for posting your quick take having rec'd your new 1330. The bulging cover on the bottom is almost certainly a sloppily installed memory stick- and yes, that's incredibly bad QA and something that should've been caught instantly when doing even routine testing.
The poorly lit display is what surprises me in particular though. I had really thought that those who splurged on the M1330 would have been getting the high-end, super bright, kick-ass LCD.
Anyway, I do hope things work out for you and you get those issues resolved! -
Hmm...now I'm reconsidering purchasing the XPS M1330. I was going to order tonight. Maybe I will settle for the Ispiron 1420.

Can you post some pics so we can see....If it was me and you are unsatisfied I would just return it and get your money back. Unless you need it right away I would wait until they standardized the m1330 production. ALso you can complain and see if they can give u a discount.
