Split water on it and let it dry for a couple of days now and still no post.

My question is in normal situation will a notebook post without the keyboard plugged in? Just trying to narrow the problem down.

It starts up power lights come on and fan runs. Drive light flashes one time and then after about 15 sec the fan stops. Nothing shows up ion the display. Ive. taken the keyboard off and the CPU and let it dry. Did not appear to be wet.

It should post without the keyboard plugged in. At the very least my 500m did, so I see no reason why the 1000 shouldn't.
