    Quick typing on Inspiron 1720 - Bug

    Hi.

    My problem is that when I type quickly, sometimes cursor jumps to different position in text so it spoils what I wrote already before. It's really annoying and I can't find out why is this happening.
    I thought that maybe it's related somehow to this laptop. Pls help if you have any ideas.

    The common thing is that perhaps your hand is brushing the touchpad as you are typing and causing the mouse to move somewhere else on the page.

    Hmm, yeah that's what I thought. Has never happened to my 1720 though.... If all is done, try reinstalling the pad drivers. That is all I can think of.

    Yea, Dell's touchpad drivers should have a feature that disables the touchpad temporarily while you type. That should take care of your problem.
