I'm about to get a new Dell and I want a snap cover to protect the lid. After looking through all the colors I'm kind of leaning towards the Mediterranean blue. However, I noticed on some pics, the cover seemed to be just a regular blue, while on other pics it seemed to be a sort of metallic blue. Can anyone clarify this issue for me? Thanks![]()

To me, it is more of a regular blue, not metallic. Don't judge it based on the pictures on Dell.com. There pictures for the blue snap cover don't look anything like the regular one. On Dell, they have it where it covers the white bumpers, but it really doesn't. It only covers the area in between the white bumpers.
We might have a picture of the blue one on here. I know we have a picture of the charcoal black on here. I'll see if i can find a true pic of the blue. -
Mine is deep blue and glossy. I'll put some pucture later.

Here are some pictures as promised. If you can see mine is pretty falling in definition of metallic.

Your problems solved. Get the carbon fiber snap cover. It'll make your cpu like faster and stuff or something. I have one on mine and I love it.

Thanks for the help! Yeah, I can see how it's not a solid blue color. In my opinion this much looks better than the sample pictures posted by Dell.

yeah, the look is the same for both sizes. The only difference is the sizes AFAIK. They use the same material for both.
