    RAM Replacement

    I replaced the RAM in my XPS M1330 and re-started the notebook. Now it is at the startup screen with the status bar. How long does it take to initiate the new memory?

    It seems to be stuck here for awhile.

    Yeah, it can take a very long time. Like Robin24k said, just let it sit.

    The Laptop is just readjusting to the new RAM, just give it a couple of minutes to configure. :)

    It also does this whenever you load a new BIOS, just FYI.
