I've been looking at the studio 1558 deal on the dell.ca website. The specifications say that the ram is 1333mhz, but on the customization page and review screen it says the ram is 1066mhz. I'm looking at getting it with the i7 , so the ram speed matters. Which one is correct, the main site or the customization screen?

Have you asked someone on Dell's online sales chat? There's rarely any waiting time in my experience.

1067Mhz is the usable speed (for now) even though the RAM is rated for 1333Mhz

for i7 QUAD, i can guarantee you that it will be 1333mhz

i hear you though. sometimes in the sxps US site, they make the base config 6gb, but in the customization, it is4gb.

i think its just a website glitch and typo. once, they acidently put 8mb of cache instead of 6mb for i7 720qm lol
