Hey guys, I just looked at CPU-Z through wPrime, and it says that my RAM is only clocked in at 327.9 mhz. Is this because I'm running dual-channel?

    Heres A Screenshot

    Thanks,

DDR = double data rate. CPU-Z is only showing the actual clock speed, not the effective clock speed.

It can more correctly be described as 333MHz speed, 667MT/s (megatransfers per second).

Yeah, with DDR ram you take the actual clock speed and double it, so its your 327mhz x 2 = around 667.

Yep thats how DDR works... It transfers data on both the rising and falling edges of the clock without increasing the bus frequency....
